A simple act to show his disdain for this plan even though it wasn't fully honest. He ignored Max's comment about him enjoying himself, deciding it didnt need an answer. A few moments later before Salem was about to remove himself from Max and tell the crowd to leave, he felt a strong tug at the back of his collar, forcefully removing him off the metal mage as the voice demanded his name and year. Salem wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve as he stared deadpan at Max. "Thank goodness the calvarys here. I was just about to try plan B when suddenly I felt a great weight lifted off my shoulders. I'm sure I dont have to reiterate this but perhaps you may want to check beneath the mound of tall grass." Salem turned to face Max and rolled his eyes at this whole fiasco. "Eris mind asking him to let me go? Hes wrinkling this expensive fabric and I'd hate to see him ruin it beyond what damage may have already been done." Honestly he didn't care for the material or outfit too much, but he hoped that Eris would care enough to have him let go. It was bad enough being tied to this mess, now hes being seen man handled by a guard and that could only further hurt his place in the investigation. Salem needed to appear to be a well rounded student after all.
