Alastor bristled a bit at the man's presumption of his skill, but eventually let it go. Andy did make a good point. Realistically speaking he wouldn't be able to survive here on his own for any long period of time, not without in depth knowledge of how human society functioned anyway. And the only place he could get that info was from Andy. The Laizu sighed internally, seeing his options dwindle right before his eyes. He didn't like the idea of relying on one of these meat sacks, yet what other choice did he have? It was either this or spending the rest of his time fumbling around here until he was killed or his mortal prison died. "Well seeing as how you're my only readily available source on human customs, it'd be illogical for me to kill you," Alastor replied, his lips twisting into a small smirk. "My people may be alien and strange when compared to your own, but we're not mindless beasts. Still, if it puts you at ease, I swear not to harm you for the duration of my stay here. However long or short that may be." Alastor settled back down into his seat with a slight exhale. Hopefully that placated Andy to the point where his paranoia of the whole situation wouldn't interfere with any plans that happened to develop down the line. The last thing Alastor needed was to attract more attention than he already had upon arriving. "As for this... bedroom, that should suffice," he said, shifting his gaze back over to Andy. "I may be a lord, but that does not mean I am not used to making due with less."
