Pablo PaoPao

Dear god, they had done it! The demon had been summoned; One that would flex his powers and save the entire realm from the hellish plague sighted in the skies! This had been their last hope, honestly, though really Pablo had been ready for the end since this started: Maybe it was fate for them to die, maybe they weren't intend to ever be free from it. Summoning a demon to care for their problems was perhaps a sign of the end; An unavoidable plight that would soon ravish them to the last man, and leave them all as nothing more but decaying corpses in the kingdom they once called home. Pablo had no idea if this would truly work; He knew demons had greater powers, but how great? This plight seemed to not just overtake the kingdom, but the entire world as far as scouts could spot. This helplessness in his spirit? Hopelessness keeping his nerves shot and body numb? Maybe it was actually an after-effect of summoning a powerful demon: He had never done it before, thank goodness Madam Victoria had been there: Her experience was greater than his, at least. Without her aide he may have ended up losing more than momentary strength: These summonings could cost one their soul; Their entire life, in an instant, from the wrong methods used. He found himself laughing, sweating, nervous: What a damn thrill! Gods, he hadn't felt this excited in so many years: Not since he first learned to use a spear! He licked his lips, anxiously staring at the demon as if to see it display it's potential: It made no difference who spoke to it, or why, he wanted to see power! He wanted to see greatness! He wanted fear to be displayed; Horrors beyond his mind being used to save his kingdom! How heroic to summon such a creature to benefit his people; Though what if it backfired and the demon chose to kill them all?! Hoh, what a turn that'd be, huh? Perhaps it was the thought process of a sickened man, but he couldn't help but be eager: So much was on the line, so many alternative paths this one demon could take that would save or destroy them all, how utterly magnificent! This amused him to no end! Looking at the others, they seemed less amused: Madam Victoria seemed fearful, herself. And while Pablo also felt utter terror, it drove him to smiles and damn near maniac laughter: Of course he was the one they brought forth; Pablo didn't see any other demons around! The fear must've misted her mind; Or perhaps the demon was already eating her thoughts? So many possibilities, though he did hope Madam Victoria hadn't already found herself strained: He was relying on her for guidance at this point in time, after all! Her initiative and aide in summoning may have been necessary for this to have happened at all: Heavens or hells knew if she'd be needed to bring them together again later! For there was potentially much difficulty to come with stopping whatever plagued them all. "Of course it's the one!" Pablo declared, raising his hands in triumph. "Look at his fearsome form; His terrifying glare! Truly, we managed a summoning even the elders would shite themselves over accomplishing!" He gloated with pride, though despite his fear, this demon didn't send off much of an aura. Was he perhaps weaker than he looked? Pathetic, even? Pablo couldn't be sure, but he was anxious to find out. No matter the cost.
