"I gained another level but the system gave me a warning. My body can't delay 'evolution' for much longer." Hearing this and the rest of what Femus had to say snapped Nira's concentration off of her current concerns, giving her a moment to deeply process what had just been said. Thinking quickly she realised that evolution was a thing here, and it was something that couldn't be delayed at some point. Most likely then not it was fair to assume that it was tied to one's level, given how Femus had phrased his sentence. This was useful information and it was tempting her to think through other stuff she hadn't had the time to process, but she soon snapped her attention back to the moment to keep her attention from going off on a tangent. Having taken her mind off of the current problem for a second though, Nira felt a little calmer. If Femus were to 'evolve' right now, it would likely give them a slight advantage. But at the same time, they really didn't know how long it would take even though Femus's insight was probably right. Deciding to split the difference, she responded. "I think your hunch is right, but for now we should at least get a little farther away before you 'evolve', just to reduce our chances of being spotted. If we can see them, it's likely that they'll eventually see us. Maybe we can move a tree or two over towards the big tree?" Nira color=a062de Echo-Voice color=a187ae
> N/A > N/A > N/A > N/A
