But, the prospect of a forced evolution and the pressure of having so little knowledge to work with was shaking his nerve more than he could completely hide. His voice had a subtle tremor to it and an unusually thin tone, as though it were a bubble on the verge of breaking. But, more than all these signs of disquiet, there was one thing that made his current uncertainty terribly clear. He waited to follow Nira's lead.
