Jess never had any intention of further education once she had finally graduated from high school in Winnipeg. The plan was to make a couple of indie documentaries, get them into some film festivals and then success would make the big wide world her oyster. However a cave dive, a few terrigen crystals and her trillions of quantum displaced atoms changed that plan! Forgetfulness was a trait that she had apparently inherited from her late mother Patty. Jessica’s father had reminded her a thousand times that she had to be at a certain place by a certain time to get the shuttle for Mobius. Well she done did fucked that one up the poor girl. Luckily for her, she wasn’t the only one that was late. In the few months since she had activated her inhumanity, Jess had met a handful of other inhumans in the area thanks to her father's connections; one of whom was Thad Richardson, the all American jock type...in Canada, with the ability to fly. He was a lovely kid, little bit dim but nice enough and he was going to be joining Mobius too. Thad had also missed the transport by seconds so Jess decided to take a little initiative. She jumped into his body and took full control, pursuing the shuttle. Thanks to Jess’ power bi-product of supercharging, Thad shot off like a rocket at close to mach speeds, a shame she didn’t know how to stick the landing. Sorry Thad, you’re gonna be sore in the morning. Emerging from her current host, Jessica swiftly placed her gloves back on and tapped the disoriented jock on the cheek like the golden retriever he was. ”Thanks for the ride handsome, I owe you one!”. Jess hadn’t been an inhuman long but she already knew how to use her gifts to her advantage. She sprinted off down the campus, going as fast as her legs would take her, having literally no idea where on Earth she was supposed to be going. Thad began ”...so then we were in the pool and she started taking her shirt off and...” he stopped suddenly. Wait this wasn’t the bus stop. This isn't even Winnipeg. What the hell happened? He brought his gaze upwards at the monstrosity of the future, Mobius. ”...woah” Jessie stood out wherever she was, it was just a fact. She was gorgeous, she knew that and she dressed a little outlandish, maybe not now compared to potential alien classmates with three heads and four boobs but running around in vintage fashion was her jam. Today’s ensemble was simple, leather pants and a Fozzy vest with her faithful gloves to avoid physical contact and accidental body hopping; Scott Bakula never had that problem on Quantum Leap, it’s just not fair. On this fine morn her long flowing hair was dark, though she’d probably dye it again in a week, it was a thing. Luckily for Jess, she had a friend in the assembly who had text her that she was to be in group 1-D with Ant Man as her mentor. Not her first choice but fuck it, beggars cannot be choosers. Knowing the assembly was finished, she decided that going straight to the dorms would be the best plan. She sprinted passed a delicious looking guy talking to himself and eating a sandwich. She noted that the building may have been a cafeteria, good to know. Accidently passing through a few walls as she gawked at the boy, Jess soon found herself on candid camera as she came face to lense with a short girl wielding the deadliest weapon on Earth, a cell phone. ”Oh hey. You’re a pretty little thing! Can you tell me where, 1-D is?” [@Fabricant451]
