What was a bit morbid with this type of employment, I had to park my car next to burial vaults. Plus, we also did cremations. So, my office was less than 150 feet from someone being cremated. The real problem was, it was the way the building floor plan was designed. Were people were being cremated and the sale floor, was divided with a wall but the wall was around 80% glass. So you can be on the sales floor selling grave markers and monuments, and look at someone being cremated at the same time.

One day I had a woman and her daughter who was around 10 years old. I was making headway of selling a single grave marker when her daughter came to her mother and asked a question. "Mom, what are they doing with that naked woman?" On the other side, they were bringing in a woman to be cremated. The mother looked what was happening, she grabbed her daughter, and I lost a sale.
