Npc:
The prince glared at both of them. He struggled, which got worse when he was pinned to the wall like that. Then, he heard what the woman said and glared yet again. 
"according to your beast of a 'mate' here, I already have apparently."
He narrowed his eyes.
"besides, this is not a love match. The fact was not hidden. She may be beautiful but she is annoying as much as anything or anyone else."
That last part revealed that he had lied when he said he cared about her as a friend.
