Victoria stepped further back. She tried to keep a safe distance between her and the demon at the moment. She did not wish to take any risks. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself after that. She then managed to speak again. 
"I...I was just asking what you would like in return."
She looked away for a moment so she would not be making direct eye contact but then she found herself looking at the demon once again. She frowned for a bit as she wondered what the demon would ask for. 
"D...demons usually want some form of payment, correct?"
She hoped that she had heard correctly about that. She would hate to be wrong in this, as being wrong could mean they were all in grave danger. That was what she thought. After a moment or so, she noticed that the demon had seemed to take a particular interest in her and she wondered why.
