He appreciated Arnora’s apology but it wasn’t the apology he needed to hear. Cuyler walked along, watching the roots spread out and under them as his mind wandered and shifted. He didn’t notice Sága stop until he had ran into her. To determine if he was worthy he had to fall from the bridge? That seemed like a crucial piece of information and would have been nice to know earlier. Cuyler glanced over the Rainbow Bridge, seeing roots and nothingness underneath. He looked back at Sága, ready to voice his opinion when she smiled and pushed him over the edge. Cuyler’s eyes widened as he felt the inexplicable feeling of falling and then he reached, hoping above all that he would feel solid wood of Yggdrasil in his hand. As he was falling, his mind flashed to past memories as one would do when a life was potentially ending. He saw images of his father teaching him how to sail. To tie the ropes and climb up to the top to fix the sails or release sails while on the sea. It was tedious work and required a lot of trial and error. On one such lesson something went wrong and Cuyler slipped from the end of the pole he was fixing the rigging on. It was well over the water and Cuyler landed into the cold waters of the Land of Lost Nights with a loud thudding sound. The water had rose up around him, pulling him down while the crushing weight of freezing water pushed on his chest. Naturally, he panicked, having never fallen from such a great height before. He knew how to swim, taught before learning to walk it seemed but at the moment it didn’t matter. As he panicked, water filled his lungs and his vision grew dark. His father had rescued him and the Norns, goddesses of Fate had not claimed him on that day. Would they today though? In the very lands they claimed, while his mother ruled and his friend stood mere feet away. Did Cuyler even want to be saved, knowing what tasks lay ahead of him? Still, Cuyler found himself reaching and opening himself up to fate.
Unsure if skills can be used here but Enhanced Strength maybe? Roll to see if Cuyler can grab on, if he is worthy enough.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Outside The Vault -- The Palace Skills:
If there was one thing they all seemed to agree on it was getting help for Amarantha. Her earlier behaviour was uncalled for but she wasn’t exactly herself at the moment. She had reverted back to her more cynical ways with a bloodthirsty creature inside her. Ahote relaxed a little, pleased they would try to find her some help. The stronger topic of conversation now was trying to find someone to take her place. ”Well there is Titan. He was her second and a strong enough leader with the guard, at least from what I have seen. Not to mention he kept both you and Luna safe tonight Valda.” Of course the ultimate decision would be Valda’s choice. Perhaps she had a different sort in mind, someone tamer and who could take direction more easily. Ahote was quite ready for bed but wouldn’t leave the royals unattended; although, between Valda and Myrus, they were more than capable of taking care of themselves. Ahote would escort them all back to their chambers and find extra guards for them if they decided. It wouldn’t be a bad idea though if they all had a bit of a slumber party within Valda’s rooms. They might all need it after the multiple death scares after this day.
