The distinction in MR is that different “omniverses” have different makeups and content from within one Cannot physically interact with another. That, and it’d be highly impractical to rename current cosmological bodies to accomadate this when in reality other Existences [i]very[/i] rarely actually come up in MR and they are, under almost all circumstances, too difficult to reach to be worthwhile. I only recall twice when other existences mattered, and only in one of them did any of our characters actually go. The other time is, well, now.
