Oberon’s analysis of the Goblin didn’t return anything particularly interesting, unfortunately; aside from the fact that this specific Goblin was even weaker to fire than normal and that he didn’t have any magical skills in progress there wasn’t much of note. He did appear to have some physical skills and his equipment was better than his peers, but as long as they kept their distance from him they should be okay. Of course, that what easier said than done; he would have an easier time of it due to his wings but the others, especially Digbie, didn’t have such an advantage; except for Ash, but Oberon wasn’t sure if her wings were the kind better suited to gliding or not. In any case it would probably be best if he tried to gain and keep the sword Goblin’s attention and distract him from the others if a fight broke out. He seemed to be doing a good job of that already with the way the Goblin was glaring at him, the little green humanoid even flexing his fingers around the hilt of the oversized sword as if he wanted to use it. Was it because Oberon was moving around them, potentially flanking them, or could he tell that he was gathering Mana in some way? The Sprite stopped walking and also ceased gathering light in case the Goblin could sense it in some way, unaware of the subtle glow his wings gave off as they drew in sunlight. Things seemed to be going well so far and he didn’t want to do anything to change that. Hopefully the Mana he had would be enough, if it was needed at all. Digbie was handling things well enough. Speaking of which, their representative starting speaking again, dragging Oberon’s attention back to the current discussion, and gave the order to release the goat again. This time he made his intentions clearer, ordering Rags and his group to release and kill the goat as a sacrifice and present it to Digbie as an offering. More than that they would have to fight it first, potentially weakening themselves in the process and at the very least removing a complicating factor from the situation in the form of one belligerent mammal. It wasn’t a bad idea; the worst outcome was that Rags refused and ordered his followers to attack, but considering they all at least expected something like that to happen they wouldn’t be caught off guard. The only problem Oberon had was the fact that none of them would be able to see what Rags was doing while they were in the shelter and who knew what kind of tricks he might pull. The Sprite was planning on staying outside the shelter as a result, retreating to the branches of a nearby tree instead of heading underground with the others, but Ash beat him to it by offering to keep watch. Well, it would be interesting to see how they reacted to a talking Pygmy Drake. As the Demi-Goblin ushered him towards the shelter Oberon followed, stopping next to Ash long enough to cast Shield IV on the Pygmy Drake as a precaution. “They’re weak to fire, especially the one with the sword, so use that if you have to.” The Sprite followed Digbie into the shelter, the Earth Wall closing up the entrance behind them, and he waited to see what would happen next. Using the time he had he used Meditation to restore the rest of his Mana.
