Sylvia listened as Ferric looked over the slaad gem and talked about slaads. That thing they encountered was affable in comparison to other slaads?! Sylvia silently hoped that she and her friends do not encounter any more slaads. Though she was now curious, how did Ferric know so much about slaads? Had he encountered them before? She didn’t ask the questions, and instead listened as he went to appraise the silver brick next. Turns out that it wasn’t silver, but mithril! She had heard of mithril before thanks to Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movie. She had to admit, mithril armor sounded awesome. If she sold this to Ferric, then they could buy mithril armor later. Then her attention turned to the Mobile Home Ferric brought out. She kept herself from laughing. If someone back home asked for a Mobile Home and saw this, they would have been so angry. Plus this looked a wooden version of Cinderella’s Pumpkin carriage. Well, she knew what code names to give it now. She answered Ferric, “I don’t think getting horses or mules will be a problem...” She then told him, “I think you have a deal. We’ll sell the arms, armor, the slaad gem, and the mithril bar, and we’ll buy the Mobile Home,”
