Done! I used the closest picture to what I had in mind that I could find, but it's probably better to go with the description. I'll see if I can try to draw him later. Soon, all will know the fury that is Louie and Chewie! Slowly.
Name: Louie Donnavich Nicknames: Lou, Louball, Donnabi--... actually, let’s not use that one. Age: 19 Gender: Male Origin: Pastoria City Appearance: Lou appears pretty ragged, even for a Pokemon trainer, and it doesn’t appear as though he cares either. He has black hair and green eyes, is tanned from the sunlight, and is quite tall, around 6’3 and lanky. He wears faded jeans that seem just a bit too short for him, yet somehow too big around the legs at the same time. He wears worn-out black rubber boots, and a brown coat over a white tank top, hiding a set of surprisingly toned arms. There is clearly untrimmed stubble on his face, and he could easily be mistaken for someone older if not for his slouching and generally inattentive demeanor. Personality: “Pokemon battles are supposed to be fun, right? So I mean, I’m just here to have fun.” More competitive trainers might find Louie’s attitude towards Pokemon battling to be a bit grating, but he either doesn’t notice or doesn’t care. As long as he and his faithful Munchlax earn enough from doing various odd jobs and winning battles to keep eating well and travelling peacefully, he tends not to worry about much. Louie seldom stays in the same place for more than a few days, unless he’s visiting his parents in Pastoria City. Or there’s a crisis that he and Chewie the Munchlax want to help solve. Louie is as about as relaxed as you can be without being asleep and rarely gets angry. He has a tendency to doze off, and yet it seems as though walking for hours and hours doesn't tire him out. Although he knows a great deal about Pokemon and nature, Louie can be a bit slow on the uptake. He isn’t stupid per say, but he has trouble paying attention to subjects that don’t immediately draw his interest, and tends to joke around even about serious topics. Louie is a skilled athlete thanks to his extensive travelling by foot, and despite his lax nature, has a surprising competitive streak once he gets into the heat of battle. Even when tensions flare up, expect Louie to make fast friends with most people, have the time of his life, and forgive bitter rivalries quickly. The exception being litterers. Louie hates when people litter, and will take it upon himself to angrily and bitterly pick up trash that isn’t even his if he sees it. Assuming his Pokemon doesn’t eat it first. Short Biography: Louie has been surrounded by Pokemon his entire life. He was born and raised in Pastoria City, surrounded by some of the widest Pokediversity in the region. Both of his parents, Don and Ana, have been working as park rangers in the Great Marsh Nature Preserve since before Louie was born. With their partners, Toxicroak and Roserade respectively, they helped to preserve the natural ecosystems in the area and prevent the overcatching of Pokemon from their natural habitat (as well as, in some cases, preventing the propagation of invasive species by catching them and returning them to their natural habitats). Louie had known how to throw a Pokeball since he was six, but he hadn’t ever caught a Pokemon for himself. His early “training” consisted of catching only what needed to be taken out of the nature preserve and immediately turning them in to one of his parents. One day, however, Louie’s parents began to speak about a great black and white beast wreaking havoc across the Great Marsh, devouring literally hundreds of pounds of native plant life and overturning entire acres of land in search of food. Louie was determined to make his parents proud, and so without their knowledge, set out to try and find this mysterious Pokemon carving a swathe of destruction through the reserve. ... Needless to say, when Louie found that the creature in question was a simple Munchlax, he had a rather long laugh about it. The Munchlax was easy enough to lure back to one of the safehouses using a copious supply of the Marsh’s standard Pokemon bait, and even simpler to capture once it had eaten its fill of trail rations. With a bit of training, Louie taught his Munchlax, whom he affectionately began to refer to as “Chewie”, what was and was not acceptable to eat, and ensured that no matter how hungry, Chewie would always have something to snack on. He would become rather helpful in the Marsh, gleefully gobbling down any non-native plant species which dared to threaten the area’s natural ecosystem. Chewie and Louie set out travelling a few weeks after Louie’s fifteenth birthday, and have been inseparable ever since. On his last trip to Pastoria City, Louie received the endorsement of the city’s gym leader as a thank you for his service to the park. Louie decided that pursuing the gym challenge would be a fun opportunity to meet some likeminded trainers, and if fate was on his side, maybe even make a run at the champion’s tournament... Pokemon:
Name: Chewie Species: Munchlax Gender: Male Ability: Thick Fat Personality: Given his species and trainer, it should come as no surprise that Chewie is generally not the most active Pokemon. He spends most of his time outside the Pokeball, finding enough food to eat, then returns to sleep for hours on Louie’s lap. Louie finds this absolutely adorable, and doesn’t particularly mind. In the rare situations where the duo do need to win a battle, Chewie is a hardy and powerful combatant, capable of shrugging off some blows which would easily knock out another Pokemon of similar size. Move Set: - Body Slam - Fire Punch - Counter - Curse
Summary: A relaxed trainer who, while good, really ought to take his battles more seriously if he wants to be great. Other: Louie has a very good throwing arm. He wants to catch a Pokemon that's a bit better at fetch so he can actually put it to good use.
