Wealth equals power in most societies, but with power came another common craving that could work in their favor. "However there is bound to be those of the wealthy wanting more power. I'm sure some desire to improve their station to the highest standing they can." She was trying her best to choose her words carefully. Last thing they needed was for someone to overhear their conversation and turn them in for treasonous talk. If people were paying close enough attention that could still be the case, but the plus side in being in a tavern was the fact that people were often too drunk to notice or care. She contemplated things a bit more as she finished off her drink. The ball really wasn't the best plan if she were being honest, but what other options did they have right now? There wasn't much they could do. Besides, could be kind of fun to dress up and pretend to be part of the wealthy crowd. The thought of Bowyn in formal wear made her smirk a bit. "Oh come now, it sounds like you don't want to dress up and be all fancy. It could be fun. You'd probably clean up nicely. You might even be, dare I say it, handsome!" She teased him and then giggled a bit at herself. She glanced down at her empty cup and then over to the bar, debating on getting another drink. That's when she heard Bowyn's solemn remark and she turned back to him. Her heart ached just a bit as she did, but he was right. She reached out and gently took his hand, giving it a soft squeeze. "I know and we won't make a mistake. We'll think things through as thoroughly as possible." She reassured him, but gave him a sad smile. They had to be so very careful. She let go of his hand after a moment and took his glass. "For now, though, let me go get us another drink. That man at that table over there was kind enough to donate some amas for us." She said with a sly smile as she held up a few amas she'd managed to swipe from a very inebriated man while Bowyn was originally ordering drinks. She then went to go get them some more alcohol to continue to drown their sorrows. And he's not the only child… Kenia thought to herself, alarm bells ringing in her head. Something was quite off with this boy, if he really were a boy. There was something familiar sounding about his story, but she couldn't quite place what it was. All she knew was that it had her feeling very uneasy. She glanced at Malachi briefly, wondering what he was thinking. Was he concerned as much as she was? As far as she was concerned, Zelginn had only proven himself to be a thief, a liar, and an instigator. These were all a recipe for disaster. "Oh but that is my name, dear Zelginn. I am the Lady Tsarra Kenia Urmicca, I'm known amongst my family as Kenia. However, in the circle of nobles and...admirers, as in Lord Norkas case, I am known as the Lady Tsarra. If you don't believe me, take a look at that golden locket I gave you. My name is engraved on the back." She told him as she gestured to one of the necklaces. Sure enough, if he were to look, the name Tsarra Kenia Urmicca was on it. It was a name she often used when gathering information and she'd built up quite a reputation with it. She'd brought that necklace down just in case he questioned her on it. He was beginning to try her patience, however, and she needed to be rid of him. He was far too much of a liability and there was still something about him that didn't seem right. She glanced once more to Malachi, waiting for him to put in some input. She was also concerned how he'd look at her if she had to turn to her darker side and dispose of this child. While she didn't wish to do that, she would do so if she felt she had no other choice. Self preservation along with the protection of her family was her first priority always. "Now Zelginn, as much as I appreciate you trying to anyone for your actions, I suggest you stop while you're ahead and do as I say and leave. I have provided you with far more than you deserve and I'm giving you a chance to leave scot free. If you continue to try my patience then we may see just how similar your mother and I really are." With her last words there was a dangerous darkness that crossed over her face. The nice lady was clearly gone now and in her place stood the dangerous and skilled assassin.
