"Rest isn't a huge issue, I'll be ok in a day or so. I've spent most of the last couple years flying back and forth between Toronto and Newfoundland, that's an island all the way out east, most easterly point in North America I'm pretty sure. My mom's from there, so whenever I wasn't playing, I was there. Oh, and thanks for offering to show me around, I really appreciate it!" Cole said warmly. He was terrible at picking up signals, but in that moment, he felt a bit of a vibe. He liked this girl, not only was she cute, but she seemed nice, and genuinely friendly. He hadn't dated in a very long time, and the only girls that had shown the slightest bit of interest in him since seemingly only did so because he was a player in one of the OHL premiere teams. This was different, sure, she was interviewing him, but the conversation felt more like two people who were just getting to know each other. "I might have to take you up on that once I'm all caught up on everything" he said, turning his attention momentarily to his plate to load up his fork with another bite. Wanting to keep their conversation going, he threw out the first question that jumped into his tired, jumbled mind. "You, uh, been going here long? What are you studying?"
