When people bitch, they tend to do so about people that pissed them off, which in turn makes those being called out (not by name but they're not stupid), they'll come in and defend themselves. Before long, you have the friends of both sides just getting into it in the worst of ways.

Yeah, you might have noble intentions and you probably won't intend for it to get out of hand, but it will. So the staff prefers to just avoid any version of a "bitching" thread altogether.
