As later told to him by his dad, he was his parents’ most prized and carefully looked after science project. As their abilities somewhat canceled each other out in some regard, they had initially believed that Angelo wouldn’t have any powers. However his father’s abnormalities were too strong, and he thus inherited antimatter abilities at a young age. Though to have a baby that was relatively unaffected by the drastic negatives that antimatter based creatures could have, was groundbreaking for them. As such, project “Jello” was a success. Having abilities as dangerous as these as a child though, Jello was homeschooled by his parents for the majority of his life. Though, their contrast came from his being introduced to the world. There was some resistance from his mom at first that he wouldn’t be able to have a normal childhood. Though, the reality his father presented was that Angelo never really would and that they could only really prepare him the best they could. So they took him outside to do things as any family would, albeit a bit more sparingly. That way, when the day came that Angelo wanted to explore the world, the culture shock wouldn’t be as great. Though, of course, the inevitable came up: His Parents had super powers, and once were superheroes. As any child would, he wanted to do what they did. With his father being a former U.S. Marine and his mother a police woman, there was a strong moral sense of right and wrong instilled from a young age. Of course, they didn’t want for him to live that kind of lifestyle but they knew him too well. If they didn’t arrange some means for him to use his abilities somehow, he’d figure out a way on his own. So, instead of risking that, they elected to take another option, being the Mobius Academy. Angelo learned a lot in his year there, and he eventually graduated with flying colors. With the goal of being a Number 1 hero in mind, he yearned to join a group of heroes, though his dad condemned that idea at first. That it was more about doing right by people, and keeping their home safe than it was about comparing oneself to others. Still, admiring Angelo’s heart, he offered an alternative. Mobius had a program from graduating students to return for a year to aid with incoming students on their journey to gaining a hero license. With the hope that this would somehow get him noticed, he filled out a form and sent it in.
Family Tree

Abilities
Positron Manipulation: Jello has abilities similar to his father, in so far that he can generate, shape, and manipulate Positrons. In this way, he can also generate the opposite to stabilize his power, so as to keep it from spreading and causing destruction where it shouldn’t. This comes from the molding of his two parents’ power combination through him. The limits of his power are reliant on his current level of confidence, willpower, or the emotional state he is in. Should his confidence or will falter, his abilities will destabilize and shut off before causing a dangerous ripple of antimatter energy into the universe. Although strong, he is still growing, and as such his powers are prone to hiccups at times as they mature. His capabilities with this diverse ability include: Concussive Forces - Releasing positron energy from his hands as bolts or blasts of concussive force. A low power force bolt can flick on a light switch, but at maximum power the amount of damage is unknown. He can also project low-energy positron bolts that render human normal beings unconscious by disrupting the electrical impulses in their nervous systems. Furthermore, he can produce a surge of positron energy (from his hands or entire body), which can disrupt electrical technology and enhance his physical attributes if need be. Energy Constructs - Creating constructs out of Positron energy. This is the ability that he is most known for. Using the antimatter energy, he can create blue light constructs of anything he can imagine. However, the more complex the creation, the more focus he requires to do so. Along with this, he can use positrons to create quasi-solid energy fields to entrap opponents. The force field becomes more durable, by absorbing kinetic energy. Gliding - By using positrons to create air resistance, he can essentially slow his fall and direct it. He hasn’t quite learned how to use this ability to fly yet, but he can use the kinetic energy from falling at a high rate to throw himself back upward, making it appear as though he can fly. Superhuman Durability - His tissue, skin, muscles, bones, etc. are extremely dense, allowing him to withstand harmful strains on his body. Superhuman Strength - His strength level, while impressive, only lands him in the beta-level category before any of his positron augmentations. This renders his strength in the class of Luke Cage and She-Hulk.
