In an instant, a whirling vortex tore open before the ship and pulling it through. The sudden force of rocketing through the wormhole sent Sev crashing back into her seat. For a moment everything on the ship seemed to groan in agony, from the springs under Sev's seat to the floorboards and the decaying panels on the exterior. Sev could hear the engines roaring so fiercely that they began rattling around. If this heap of junk could manage to get them through this Sev would be shocked. All around them space and time folded in bursts of vibrant blues and greens as lightyears flew by in but a second. There were rumors and myths of the first pioneers to explore space with drive cores going insane from staring into the void of hyperspace. Sev never really put too much thought into urban myths. She was reminded once again how much she enjoyed space travel. The view was breathtaking, far more impressive than the dusty dunes and urban jungle she called home for so long. The jump through hyperspace seemed to end almost as soon as it started. Within a few blinks, The Heavenly Body was floating in a completely new area. The pair found themselves surrounded by all manner of asteroid and space debris. Bits and pieces of ships that had fell victim to the asteroid field floated aimlessly as grim reminders of how much danger they were in. Upon exiting the wormhole the ship seemed to stall out for a bit. Every light on board the vessel including the console and all of it's holographic projections blinked out for only a moment and returned to normal. Sev exhaled a sigh of relief once again. Today just seemed like a series of near misses and close calls. It would all be over soon enough though. Only a few hundred meters in the distance she could make out the slightest anomaly. Among the the sea of asteroids and space debris was a asteroid a lot larger than the rest. There were the slightest indications of a structure along the surface of this particular rock. "Found you", Sev said aloud. She resumed running her hands along the console to re-establish power to the systems that she had rerouted earlier. "Take us up to that one right there", she called to Nessa, "We're gonna lay low here for awhile. It's safe I promise. Just let me do the talking once we get inside". As if on command, a set of bay doors began to slide apart on the large asteroid in front of them, revealing a chamber for them to land in.
