When Sahale placed her back on the floor, Juliana ran over to Aerex. She untied his hands and gently rolled him over on his back. When she reached for one of his hands, Juliana could feel them trembling and saw strange markings along his fingers resembling burns. Tears started to form on her eyes, and she looked back at Sahale. "Please. We've got to save him!" As for Aerex, he could barely understand what had happened to him. All he remembered was that brief rush of adrenaline, Juliana's screams, and then blood everywhere. He felt the taste of copper in his mouth and he was struggling to breathe. On top of all that, he had a throbbing headache that made it difficult to think. Looking up, he saw Juliana who was holding his shaky hands and begging someone out of view to come and help him. For some reason, he couldn't speak. He lacked the strength to do so and he could barely organize his own thoughts anyway. Aerex just wanted to tell Juliana to run, but he couldn't. He never thought she would react like this when he was in trouble. If he didn't make it, at least he knew that Juliana had survived…
