They were well versed in magic, her father [color=AF00A6]Jiro[/color] was more versed in magic that held binding, illusive and casting properties while her mother [color=AF00A6]Sayuki[/color] could manipulate mediums around her and utilize them as she saw fit. The two of them were long since tempted by evil forces that called to them almost on a daily basis and were not strong enough to deny the demons that soon occupied their bodies.

In the end, along with the corruption of the Yakuza, which heavily influenced in the area, they began to work for the mafia and her parents died in the crossfire of a raid that involved the police and a well known sector of the Yakuza. 

Michiru and her siblings lived in the the shrine with their guardian for many years before their abilities awoke. When that happened they were approached and then sent to study and train at Xavier's school for mutants. The siblings didn't mind the transfer and Michiru actually enjoys being able to utilize and work with her powers on a larger scale without others looking on in disgust. However, she's gotten into trouble one too many times at the school and as punishment she's being forced to attend Mobius.
