Ivory wasn't surprised at Illyana's answer. She didn't really seem like the fiction type, considering the kind of books she usually saw her reading. It seemed the woman liked to stay on the realistic side of things, which she couldn't blame her for, but it was nice to.. step outside of that reality sometimes. At her comment she raised an eyebrow, blue eyes scanning the book she was given before she glanced back at Illyana, who was already clearly absorbed in her current book. She had heard of this particular titlebefore, but hadn't actually picked it up. "Immature?" She questioned, opening to the index. "Aren't some of these stories kind of.. dark?" They didn't really seem like the kind of books a parent would want their child to read. Illyana only waved her hand in her direction. "Immature isn't the right word." It was easy to tell that Illyana was only now half paying attention to her words. The dhampir simply chuckled in response, knowing what she meant, and set the book aside. She'd be sure to take it with her when she left. With that, she opened the book she had previously grabbed, and began to quickly read through the first page, to get the gist. She knew that she couldn't half-ass this, because it would only end with Illyana reading through them again, which is what she wanted to avoid.
