Annabelle Lafeyette
Annebelle thought she was being stealthy. Apparently not, as the man in the van recognized her. She was no stranger to him, though he was certainly a stranger to her. In any case, Annie jumped when she was pointed at. She looked over and looked at the kid he was talking too. What did he say? She didn't really catch it. She thought she may have misheard him. They're from a place called Arcadia? That was false- she was from Witchita Falls. Maybe he was claiming he knew where there biological parents were or something. This whole thing creeped her out, and things were only doubled when the man offered that kid a ride in his mystery car. "Hey," Annie called out. Since she had been mentioned in the conversation, she decided to step in. "Is there a problem here, sir?" Her voice had a hint of hosility in it. Anyone could tell Annie thought something untoward was going on. Especially to what looked like another homeless kid wandering the streets. Annie hadn't realised there was such a homeless child problem around these parts- that would have to be sorted out later, too. Annie crossed her arms and put her weight onto one leg, trying to look tough. Indeed, Annie may have actually looked quite brave and authoritative as she felt on the inside.
