The first was obviously being back in the old neighborhood with all of the usual hangout spots, her friends she left behind (which currently extended to only Ludvig), and the familiar stench of the Columbus air. She might’ve had fresh air from the sea on the Island, but nothing quite compared to the nostalgia of musky inner-city fumes, or at least Camila was weirdly fond of. Another benefit was sitting in front of her, drinking the last of her drink from Taco Bell. Camila was feeling all sorts of thoughts and none of them were so dominant as the butterflies swirling around in her stomach the moment she saw Aria. Her long legs, the goldilocks aesthetic, those blue eyes that rendered a confident Camila helpless. Every sign that pointed towards everything all her wet dreams could cook up in a perfect scenario and she couldn’t do a damn thing about it. No matter how incredible the attraction was, Camila had to resist herself. It was the forbidden fruit in the garden that she could not eat regardless of how tempting she was. “It’s true Columbus isn’t New York, but I have missed this place,” she admitted, smiling at the blonde. “I didn’t really get to experience the city life that much. I lived at Staten Island for the better part of the past couple of years.” Camila crossed her left leg over the other, eyes casually falling on Aria’s. “I love the Island, but Columbus is home. It’s not the best at times, but it’s where I feel the most welcome.” Her voice had a hopeful tone and she took a glance around her. “What about you, Aria? Were you born here as well?”
