[i]Standing at 5'4" and weighing "It's rude to ask a maid's weight!" lbs., Shelly sports a small, pale frame with a beautiful, androgynous face. Shelly's wide, lavender eyes seem to hold whatever's within his glance with intense interest, and his normally white hair tends to be styled and colored a shade of pink and covered in black ribbons matching the stylized butler uniform he enjoys wearing the most out of his colorful closet full of cutesy clothing. Much of Shelly's wardrobe consists of attire that would normally belong to girls. It's unfair that girls get all the cute stuff, after all.[/i]

[i]To those who know Shelly well enough, they would know that the one thing that Shelly strives for the most is cuteness. Shelly has both an admiration for cute things as well as a quest to become the "cutest thing". On this personal crusade, even gender norms are something that Shelly has ignored, from preferring skirts to pants, to referring to himself as a maid instead of a butler. Shelly's admission to become the most adorable along with the common association maids have with being cute have lead the young maid to overtake an arduous journey to become the best maid in the world. Because of this, Shelly has dedicated his life to helping and serving others, always with a smile and a curtsy.

Of course, this dedication to the kawaii also means that Shelly is absolutely freaked out that he's an actually formidable Demon Weapon! He sometimes wishes that he wasn't as strong as he happens to be, or that his parents that he never knew weren't both great prodigies in their own right, or that his weapon form would at least be cute in some regard! However, despite the fact that he despises the strength he was gifted with, Shelly still pushes through to become a strong Demon Weapon as a sense of duty and service. What sort of maid would he be if he can't serve those in need, anyway?[/i]

[i]Raised in Death City by his single aunt who worked at Chupa♡Cabra's, Shelly was accustomed to hearing stories of his parents being some sort of heroic Demon Weapon/Meister team who sacrificed themselves while Shelly was too young to remember their faces... not that Shelly really paid any attention to such rumors. As a child, Shelly was always wandering the streets of Death City, lead only by curiosity. One day while following a stray puppy, Shelly got lost and scraped his knee, crying alone in an alleyway. Luckily for the young boy, a seemingly inconspicuous man came to his aid. While he had no idea how to deal with Shelly's injury or to make him stop crying, the man instead brought Shelly to the establishment that he owned- a maid cafe! Shelly found the place breathtaking, and after his injury was patched up by one of the kind maids who worked there, Shelly knew what he wanted to do: Shelly wanted to help others, just like how he was helped then!

After the incident, Shelly began to research all sorts of things pertaining to maids such as their duties and responsibilities. He even helped his aunt around the house, being more than happy to complete the chores she was too busy to do. At some point, Shelly also began to even [i]dress[/i] like a maid, taking fashion advice from his very eager aunt who was a little too happy about Shelly's newfound interest. As he grew older, Shelly bugged the cafe owner to let him work as a maid as well, and it wasn't until Shelly was 12 when the owner agreed to finally hire him... as a butler. It didn't matter too much to Shelly, really. Even if he wasn't an "official" maid, Shelly was still happy that he was able to service everyone while being praised for looking his cutest...

... Until one fateful day, when Shelly's arm turned into a ball-and-chain and left a sizable crater within the middle of the cafe! It was then that Shelly's talents as a weapon were fully recognized, and not long after, he became a student in the DWMA. Due to his natural strength as well as his heritage, Shelly was placed in the scary "E.A.T." class! Nowadays, Shelly balances his studies as a Demon Weapon along with his career as a maid, worried that at some point, he may have to choose one life over another.[/i]

The chain can currently be extended to as far as 15 ft. in length, and it is also capable of retracting as well, turning into a small but powerful mace. Despite this classification, Shelly prefers to call his Demon Weapon Form a "Magical Girl Scepter".[/i]

[i]Perhaps due to his strong lineage, Shelly's physique is quite imposing, as his punches are able to leave distinguishable impressions in concrete despite having a small body and only knowing the basics of hand-to-hand combat. Shelly also possesses an abridged form of Soul Perception that he refers to as "Charm Perception." Because he is not a Meister, Shelly is incapable of actually perceiving the souls of living individuals. However, he is somewhat capable of perceiving the power of others based entirely on how "cute" or "scary" they look. Foes who look "plain" or "bland" are harder to read. As far as practical skills though, Shelly is a "prodigy" maid capable of performing the various responsibilities belonging to a maid skillfully and with grace, from cooking to cleaning. If "Service" was an RPG stat, Shelly's would be ranked at "A+++".[/i]
