[@PharaohAtem] Kiyu is no mere child when fighting. He has ways to block, counter and knock Yama back. There are Samurai Arts to destroy spirits so they can never be used again. Some to force release them and others to cut through anything touched by ethereal energy. Kiyu could easily defeat Yama due to the vast versatility of Samurai Arts. Of course Yama could also beat Kiyu too.
