I put it down as potentially the worst screenplay (per production dollar) ever written. What the fuck with the stomach-popper scene? IT MEANT. NOTHING. They went through all of that and then "Eh, let's walk over to stage left, something might happen there." NO MORE STOMACH-POPPER. Why. Why did I have to sit through this. It was a series of cool 3-D shots (which, the 3-D looked great, to be fair), occasionally connected by weak and stupid flat characters. Rocky and Bullwinkle -- this was Rocky and Bullwinkle. And they marketed it as like this groundbreaking, "THIS ASKS THE BIG QUESTIONS" type of thriller. Fucking. Dumb.
