Ivory had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at Geralt's words. He truly acted.. quite humble when Lucien was around. Considering what Geralt had originally wanted to do, she could imagine that he was not quite satisfied with the fact things had ended up going this way, but she wasn't about to comment on it right now. Play the player, she had to remind herself. It was harder than Lucien had made it seem. 

[color=darkgray]"You [i]are[/i] being quite modest. Things wouldn't have gotten this far if you had not been willing to tell me at least a little of what you were capable of."[/color] She said, deciding to play along for now as she jumped down from the stage. She could tell that Lucien was a bit surprised by her words. Complimenting Geralt of all people was difficult for her, but there was truth to her words. If he hadn't told her, it would have made things more difficult and annoying.

[color=darkgray]"Thank you, Cora, though it's not nearly as hypnotizing as your song."[/color] She complimented, before looking at Lucien, who let out a small chuckle. 

[color=burlywood]"It's just a small rule of thumb, Cora, that a magician never reveals his secrets. Their performances are supposed to be filled with mystery, so it is a lot more exciting for the audience if they do not know how it is he performs all of his tricks."[/color] He explained, knowing there was no way she would have known this. Magic was still a bit of a foreign concept to her.
