"Sounds like a great idea!" he said enthusiastically, but with a hint of caution in his voice since she also asked for his name. Taking a quick look around the room, trying to identify who of the people inside this bar are the vampires his pistol warned him of, he realized something was off. It's not that he can tell vampires apart from humans just by appearance, but he's usually at least able to tell who looks like they could potentially be a threat, or at least cross off those who look like they wouldn't be a threat at all. But everyone in this bar just looked... ordinary, and with the way that his pistol vibrated when he walked in here, he felt that was highly unlikely. "You can put me down as Dylan." said Kade. He looked over at the few men sitting across on the other side of the bar. They looked like they could be part of a gang, but there was nothing supernatural about that. Are there known gangs in Ember Grove? he thought to himself. His gaze then lowered down to see that they too, as expected, had wristbands. The bartender passed him his drink and asked him another question, but Kade was too busy trying to fiddle with his own wristband. He tried to tear it off but to no avail - It was sealed up by something beyond physical. He smirked as he looked over to the entrance of the bar. "Not while I'm in here then, huh?" he whispered under his breath. He let out a sigh, part of it in relief. If he can't see them, they can't see him. He then glugged his drink whole. "Yeah I'm new in town," he finally responded. "I got offered a job that pays well, decided to move here and give it a try." he said shrugging, then shooting her another charming smile. "I've been in town for two days having no idea what are some good things to do around here... got any suggestions?" He then raised his empty glass, smirking, "Also, think I could get another?"

Time:Dusk Location: On the beach near the East woods. Interaction with: [@Ithradine] Helene
Caught off guard, Boris flinched, ending his humming with a choke and throwing himself out of a fetal position. How embarrassing. She heard his humming. He never let anyone hear his humming. Being found that way, he must look so weak. How hasn't he heard her coming? At first he tried to ignore the stranger, thinking that maybe she would ignore him too and go away, but then she came closer. He only turned his head to look at her when the smell of blood hit him. Concern took over and he quickly searched her body, scanning to see if she was wounded, but then was caught off guard again. She was not wounded, not at all. She was wearing what looked to him like the most expensive dress in the world, not that he has memories of many dresses to compare it to. He then thought how her accent made her sound fancy, at least to his poor understanding of what would be fancy. Was she some sort of royalty? And if so what was she doing talking to someone like him? she must think he's homeless and is expressing her pity for him. Or maybe it wasn't anything like that at all... after all, that smell... He shifted his gaze back to the sand, considering just standing up and leaving. He saw her eyes, almost red like blood stained glass. Her skin was pale, shimmering under the remaining bit of sunlight. Yeah, he thought he should definitely leave. But then she stood in front of him and politely introduced herself, her voice sweet and flowing with kindness which he found confusing. Helene, it's a pretty name he thought. "Boris." was what he said when she asked for his name, the R rolling hard on his tongue due to his accent, which he hated. Compared to her accent, he must sound like a brute. He sure looks like one. He looked up at her, flickers from the water behind her reflected in his blue eyes. He hesitated before he spoke: "You're a vampire." He immediately cursed to himself in Russian under his breathe. He didn't mean to say it like that. It sounded like he tried to insult her but he was merely trying to let her know that he knew and didn't necessarily have a problem with it. Technically, his new alpha would not approve of him even entertaining this conversation to begin with, but she approached him, peacefully. He has never interacted with a vampire before, but was told of their habit to drink blood, which would explain the smell. But she was kind, in a curious type of way, she was kind. "S...S...Sorry." he stuttered as he shook his head in shame, lowering it back down. He hoped she didn't notice his stutter. He brought his feet close, sitting cross legged, moving sand around with his toes. He was a grown man acting like a nervous child. How embarrassing.
