"Well I guess I better start making friends in here then, huh?" he teased. How was he supposed to do that exactly? He couldn't really see anyone, not really see them. They all just look like a bunch of stock-photo models. Kade chuckled when she warned him about messing with his bracelet "lied about my age?" he said, amused "looking at me, would he really think that?". He chuckled again, massaging the space in between his eyebrows. "Yeah well, don't worry, this thing ain't coming off while I'm in here." he joked waving his hand to gesture at the bracelet. He watched the bartender as she attended another costumer, who yet again, looked absolutely ordinary. Kade just sighed. It's fine, he's not here to hunt anyway, he really is here to make friends, get information on this town, and get to know its damage. He turned around to have a look. Viktor, huh? he thought to himself. Is he responsible for these bracelets? so does that make him a warlock? He glanced back at the bartender for a moment, and wondered, is she a witch? He then found himself rather enjoying this. It was like playing clue. He couldn't see anyone for who they really are, but maybe he can easily figure it out if they spoke to him. Connecting the dots and crossing possibilities out based on the things they tell him. He caught Viktor's eyes and gave him a 'there's nothing suspicious going on here' type of smile and then turned back around. He looked over at the bartender, raised his glass and winked before heading toward a random crowd. For the next few hours, Kade had spoken to so many individuals within the bar. An unstoppable conversationalist that attracted the attention of others, laughter and chatter echoed, with him right at the center of the crowd. People enjoyed listening to his stories and in return, shared information about the town with him. By the time that it was night, Kade believed he was able to profile at least 3 witches, 3 vampires, and 2 werewolves. Although he didn't have any solid proof, and he was most likely wrong, he felt pretty confident in his conclusion, feeding into his ego. "There really isn't anything to do here other than get drunk." said a stranger in a small booth at the corner of the bar. He was wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, black sneakers. Again, nothing out of the ordinary. "But that's just me." he chuckled. "We do have a bowling alley, the beach, the camping grounds by lover's lake, although I wouldn't go there." he said, slurring every second word. He was quite intoxicated. "Why not?" asked Kade. The stranger just shrugged "Iontknow." he slurred it all into one word. "Probably because of all the disappearances and animal attacks." "what disappearances and animal attacks?" Kade quickly inquired, but the stranger just shrugged again. His eyelids were nearly shut, and his head kept tilting sideways as he was dozing off. Kade snapped his fingers at his face, but the man did not respond. "Yeah." Kade sighed "He's done." Kade's facial expression was clearly not impressed. He leaned back, pulled out his phone and looked at his messages. He looked at his outgoing message that read: "Hey it's Kade Wilson. Could someone meet me and brief me on what my role is?" but there was no response. Annoyed he decided to send another "Seriously? its been two days!" He stared at his phone for a minute or two, almost as if he tried to telepathically force a reply to come out of it. But, of course, nothing happened. He rolled his eyes and looked at the time. "It's still early, but I guess I should go to sleep and check the camping grounds tomorrow morning, right?" he said quietly while looking at his phone, again, staring at it as if expecting a response. Kade stumbled out of the booth, clearly a little drunk, and made his way to the bar so that he could pay his bill. Interaction with: [@Ithradine] Helene
"You speak Russian?" he asked in Russian, his tone completely changed now that he spoke a language he was fluent in. He had a confused expression on as her accent did not sound Russian at all. He sprung to his feet to stand in-front of her, accidentally towering over her forgetting just how tall he is. Usually that would make him feel bad, always so conscious of how big and threatening he could look to people. A self deprecating part of himself wanted to tell her that she should be afraid of him, that he has done horrible things that should not be forgiven, but, she made it pretty clear that she was not afraid of him. After all, why should she be? she's a vampire. He heard only horrible things about these creatures. She's the first one he's ever interacted with, and she's nothing like what has been described to him by his new pack. What he heard of vampires is that they have sharp fangs, great cavernous eyes, long tough nails, they're devoid of emotion, they're pitiless, and have mirthless humor and cruel wit. But she was friendly, and sweet, and gentle. The smell of blood on her is not strong, which was why he could not notice her coming close to him. But that faint smell of blood, was the only smell coming off of her, he could not smell the smell of humans on her the way he expected to smell off of a vampires. So does this mean she doesn't drink it from them directly? this was all very confusing and has really warped his perception of vampires. Still speaking in russian, he said: "I'm a wolf." and pointed at his nose "I can smell the blood you drink, so I knew." He then gave her a smile, still with downcast eyes, but a smile nonetheless. He's been pleading for something to get his mind off of things, and the curiosity that her presence spiked in him did it. He brushed his hand on his shorts so to brush the sand off and extended him arm out. "It's nice to meet you too." It was strange to him how he recognizes that his behavior changes when the past does not weigh on him. He moved his gaze back to the sunset and spoke, back to English "I sh..should go." he turned his gaze back to her. He did not deserve her kindness, even if she was a vampire. He began walking away toward to the grass before stopping, letting out a sigh, and turning around to look at her once again. "I c..c..come watch the s..s.." he began stuttering, struggling to say the word. He just shook his head, took a deep breath and started over. "The s..sunset tomorrow too." he seemed to be relieved for having been able to break through his speech disorder, almost forgetting what he was trying to say. He looked at her blankly for a moment, nervously lifting his shirt up to itch his stomach, he finally asked. "If you want to c..come." Oh, Liam would be disappointed. he thought.
