Fugitive Princess Koriand'r of Tameran enlists the help of Rocket and Groot in order to get evade (Unknown). Unable to refuse the large sum, Rocket agrees to get the Princess off-world despite his better judgement. This leads to the pair being pulled into an intergalactic war and seeking the aid of an old friend, a warrior capable of turning the tide of even such a massive battle. But what they find instead is the shell of the man they had sought.
