Best I can describe it, she consumes the concept of the food she eats and the actual matter just reverts into its basic atomic elements before dispersing and scattering elsewhere within the dimension.

Ie. If she takes a bite out of an apple, the conceptual structure that makes it recognizable as part of an apple is eaten. And the matter that was tied to that concept loses it's structural identity, separating and scattering like dust throughout the dimension due to the process of consuming the concept.
