Looking around after they had found a nice spot on a larger part of the tree's branches, Nira was glad to see that they could see more of the activity within the forest. Even the lower branches of this tree were of a reassuring hight off the ground when compared to other trees, at least enough so as to provide some sense of safety. But looking over at their, -well, Femus's actually-, old hideout, Nira couldn't help but be reminded that safety was still a relatively short lived thing should something change. Taking note of several surrounding details, she continued to feel unnerved by the presence the tree was giving off even though nothing had seemingly happened yet after touching down upon it's apparently warm branches. Though she could take this as a sign that things were ok, she decided to make a mental note to experiment with new skills someplace else just in case. "Alright. We finally have a safer place to get this done." Femus said softly with a sigh of relief before speaking seriously. Listening in on the rest of what he had to say, she was both left with several questions and several insights. The knowledge he had shared was something she was grateful for, both because it ment that the system could be interacted with, and because it ment he trusted her somewhat. Though she hadn't realized it until now, Nira trusted him somewhat too. He'd been both reliable and forthright so far, and those were exactly the kind of qualities that made someone a good ally. Smiling as she responded, Nira brushed her hair aside again after a nod. "Alright. I'm going to duck out of the tree for a short moment to try making a ranged skill, or something, and then I'll be back. Last thing we need is something getting pissed because the tree got damaged." Hopping down to a relatively safe looking spot of the ground on the opposite side of the tree, Nira again tried to replicate Femus's mana orb skill from what little memory she had of seeing it in action. Focusing on the memory, she drew out her mana and tried to compact it until it felt stable. Having a momentary flash to every game she has played, she spoke a few words on instinct. "Mana compact, into a ranged attack." Aiming at the ground away from the old tree she'd just come down from, Nira released the orb and hopped back into the air regardless of what happened. Grabbing a blue yill before returning to where Femus was, she kept an eye out for any trouble until she knew he was done with the evolution.
