Sazkarjhit Diplomacy, Mars Orbit Fergus smiles, and waves off the soldiers that were suspiciously eyeing the Sazkarjhit ones, he lets out a quit sigh of relief as they leave. Probably due to half of them having their fingers twitching on the trigger (the other half just had their fingers on the trigger without the twitching). They leave out the door, but stay close by. "The pleasure is all mine, Ambassador." Replies Fergus, who is standing in front of the window looking out on the Martian surface. "You know, earlier it occurred to me that all you know of my people comes from the war and occupation. Now, after I realized this I began trying to imagine what you must think of us. Logic says that you must see us as a warrior species. We were far too harsh, we let our anger blind our actions. For what it's worth, I apologize for that. You are here today because we wish to make amends. I know there are many prejudices on all sides, but the fact that I am speaking to you in good faith right now shows that we can come to tolerate, even trust each other. Don't you agree?" EA Military Camp, "Draconian Front 2" The last remnants of my glorious people, reduced to this So thought a single Draconian on what is the last planet with any Draconian population on it. The Earth Alliance had buried it deep within millions of different languages, computer codes, and cyphers, along with a maze of file directories. Along with all that, they also put it in a closed system, making all the security features useless unless someone had some kind of insane magical thing to get into it, which is what they're legitimately afraid of. The population was being preserved so the Draconian species would not go extinct, but that is the extent of the human kindness. All of them are more or less slaves, working for the Earth Alliance expansion directive. Expansion in this case meaning the colonization of Draconian planets not horrifically destroyed while captured enemies watched. The inhabitants worked to crack Draconian codes, while the humans appeared as their oppressive overlords. Sometimes inhabitants disappeared and came back with scars, not remembering anything. The truth is, the human staff are attempting to get enough genetic material to bring the species back, but they still despise the ones currently alive. Of course, if the Triarians heard of this it would mean war, thus the rush to take Draconian planets with their infrastructure and computer systems still intact.
