I understand. You've just moved into town, after all. It'd be wrong of me to think that you would already know all our traditions and holidays on your first day here." Irina smiled, and handed the pie to the blushing girl. "Just remember to warm it in the oven before you leave, so that it isn't cold when you arrive." As Irina waited for Ana to return from putting the pie away, her smile turned into a frown. For someone who had just moved into town, the girl didn't have much to her name. Even her fridge was completely empty! She'd have to come over sometime and help her decorate, or maybe offer to bring over some mail order catalogues from the city or from the local general store. Then again, did Ana have any money to spend? Maybe they could try talking to the local craftsman, Ferris for a discount at the party. He should be there, I think. I know he needs the work, too. When Ana walked back with the breakfast bar, Irina graciously accepted. Processed, store-bought food wasn't the kind that Irina normally ate, but she was hungry, having skipped breakfast to toil over the pie. "I think it's a wonderful gift, either way." Irina replied, smiling back. As a sign of solidarity, Irina unwrapped the top of the wrapper, taking a bite from the peanut butter bar. "Breakfast bars like these aren't something I typically have for breakfast, but I can see why you like them, Ana." Rolling up her sleeve, Irina took a glance at her watch. "Well, I'll have to get going, in any case. My air-headed cousin is probably already up and bothering our grandmother while she tries to prepare for the picnic." Irina sighed. "I can at least show you into town if you'd like to meet the others, though."

[sub][@Ladypug][/sub]
