I'll tenatively throw down my interest. I just completed Witcher 1 recently and have moved on to Witcher 2 so this seems like it could be fun. I'll probably need to do a bit of wiki surfing in order to make sense of everything. As a question, will this be closer to book Witcher or game Witcher? From what I've heard the books, and thus also the Netflix version, are quite different from how the games operate.
Well the games occur after the books, and they mostly differ with character's looks and some story elements, but they follow the same timeline and general rules of the Witcherverse. We won't be following Geralt or Yen, so as long as you know the universe in general you should be good. Also good luck with game 2, it's my favorite for the story.

I have a character who is a Witcher, and he's an asshole of the highest order. (I really don't know that he has any redeeming qualities...) But I also have an enchantress who I love love love writing, so I'll see what the rest of the interest is before I make any kind of decision...
