A national park is an area of land protected by the government ^^ Basically, it was determined to be important, so no one can legally build on it or do anything else to harm it. We went to the Grand Canyon, which is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. I only live like an hour and a half away from it, so my friends and I thought it would be a nice day trip! There was snow in the canyon, and we threw snowballs over the rim, haha.
