"Maybe it's just really stupid?" Kabocha offered, shrugging his shoulders. "I mean... It boarded a ship with all of us on here, and I'm sure some random critter isn't enough to give us any trouble. Thing probably smelled food onboard and came crawling on, just some wild animal. Giving Kai a skeptical look he rolled his eyes then, smiling amused as he shook his head. "Target? You say that like this thing's got any clue what it's doing. The thing is probably purely instinctual, like any old animal. Sure maybe it started out chasing one guy, but it's bound to be pretty dumb. One piece of food is as good as the next." "It doesn't take something intelligent to kill you though," Takeshi pointed out, checking a few doors that they passed by. After one storage room and another maintenance room they finally found what they were looking for. Thankfully the room wasn't locked, not that he could see a reason why they might lock a room full of clothes and showers. "If it's got fangs and claws it can hurt you. Shu in his Oozaru form is just running on instincts like you said, and he tore my damn tail off," he continued, looking back with a small smile as the door opened. "Still think an animal is harmless?" He doubted that this thing was going to be nearly as dangerous as a rampant Saiyan child though. If it was the ship wouldn't be in one piece still. Once inside the room Takeshi made a b-line right towards one of the lockers, checking inside for some clothes to change into. "Between the four of us we really don't got to worry about anything shy of my father," Takeshi added, smiling as he pulled out a crimson set of pants and a matching sleeveless top, as well as some typical boots and gloves. Crimson was typically reserved for the higher ranks, meaning he was pretty much raiding an Elite's locker right now. Grinning mischievously at that thought he kicked the door shut, waving his findings around a bit before going around the corner to change. Off came his dirty, worn out clothes and into the garbage they went. He could shower now, but that would take too long. Instead he just slipped on the new set of Saiyan garb, a little miffed he was still wearing the same pair of briefs. Getting dressed hardly took more than a few seconds, and in no time at all he was back out with the others, patting himself down to make sure everything fit. "Okay then, now that should be better. Shall we go hunting guys?" "Ooooh, so they're telepathic?" Yumi asked in earnest curiosity. She knew that twins on Earth had an uncanny ability to sort of pick up how the other was feeling, but she'd never thought it went as far as being synchronized in battle. That must be so cool, having someone mirror your moves and work with you without having to utter a single word. Even she and Vegeta or Viral didn't have that kind of chemistry and they had been fighting together for quite some time now. In a way she found herself envious, wishing she could work that well with someone herself. Looking back at Daiko warmly she leaned over, patting his hand gently in a friendly gesture. "Well don't feel rushed into it, I don't want to come across as pressuring you. I mean... You've got all the time in the world now to decide what you want to do with yourself, and so do your sons. There's literally a million possibilities, I can see why that might be a bit overwhelming." There was a bit more that Yumi wanted to ask, and again she felt like it might be a little inappropriate. Vegeta wasn't here to overhear, and those who were around certainly weren't going to say anything about this, so it was safe enough. Biting her lip for a second she looked at her hands in her lap, rubbing at her left hand with her thumb on her right absentmindedly. "If you don't mind me asking... What can you tell me about Choi...?" she asked, her cheeks turning a faint pink. "Just uh... Out of curiosity, I wanted to know more about him." Vegeta was fair flustered, not able to spot a single thing that might be the source of this tension. Only so much of the area was accessible on foot, and with no Ki signature he doubted they were flying around. On a whim he decided to walk to the edge of the walkway, leaning over the railing to check under the engines. Half expecting to find something clinging to the underside he couldn't see anything, and the same was true on the other side as well. Wherever this thing was it hid moderately well, either that or he was totally oblivious. "Viral? Think we might have the wrong room?" Vegeta asked, turning around to look at his friend. Just as he laid eyes on the Beastman he saw a thick substance drip down from the ceiling, landing with a splat on the floor before seeping through the perforated metal plates. Not a second after did a high pitched sound echo through the room, making the Saiyan cover his ears painfully as he tried to track the source. A large blue creature proceeded to fall down from wherever it had been, landing directly on top of Viral. Emitting another shrill shriek it lifted up one of its massive arms, preparing to drive it down onto the trapped Beastman. Vegeta quickly pushed off of the floor, flying across the room to try to help and instead watching as the creature was kicked off easily enough, landing on the ground some fair bit away with a heavy thud. Landing himself at Viral's side he looked down to make sure his friend was alright, looking back then to the beast. "What the hell is that thing?" The creature growled again, climbing back onto its feet and slamming its bulky arms down on the walkway. Its red eyes looked between the two fighters before it, trying to decide which should be attacked first as the bigger threat. The Saiyan looked to be much more frightened, and he already knew that the Beastman could strike hard. Opting then to go after Vegeta it emitted a loud roar, slamming its arms once again before barreling forward, trying to pounce on Vegeta. Making a lunge for him it could only snarl angrily as it was easily dodged, landing hard on the floor again and skidding across it, using its talons to stop itself and turn back around. The Saiyan had moved up into the air, annoyingly enough, but the Beastman was still bound to the ground. Its agenda changed on the fly then, and seeing an easier target in Viral once more it bore down on him yet again, rearing up on its hind legs as it got close and swiping at him furiously with both arms.
