“He is right, your father. Monarchs are remembered in history books, taught to generations.” Iris smiled as she examined the wares in the shop, “It’s up to you on what kind of king you wish to become. I think you will be fair and just. The people seem to love you so I’m sure you will be remembered for great things. Though I’m sure everyone tells you this, so the meaning becomes less and less each time you hear it.” Pondering her own words, she could only imagine feeling the pressure of becoming a monarch, ruling people with fair outcomes and ensuring there was a steady flow of food, money. It had to be hard. “Disappearing…” Iris sighed softly, she honestly felt like she had disappeared from the world, no one had yet to say that she was from their family. No one had claimed her, and it did feel like she didn’t exist, on another note it was great because there was no responsibility, no expectations and she was lucky in the fact someone had taken her in. “I can understand, it would be quite interesting just to disappear and live a different life.” Grinning she turned to Cas as she finished browsing the shelves, “How would I like to be remembered? Hmmm… you know what it may sound cliché, but I’d loved to be remembered for doing something meaningful. Something that changes things for the people for the better.” Tapping her finger against her chin she nodded as if agreeing with her own thoughts, “Yeah, wouldn’t it be nice to know that in a hundred years from now someone would learn about you and be like wow they changed this. They made an impact. Something that you as a King could probably do.” As she had finished browsing this store, she signalled Cas to follow, she wanted to go look at another store and see how it varied with their items. “Sorry, I’m getting super distracted, we should probably take a look round so we make the best use of our time.” Chuckling softly as she headed to the door giving one last glance back at the historical painting that had originally caught her eye. “But yeah, I just think that if you can do something that could have such a big change everything would be worth it. Does that make sense?” Turning to look at Cas as she headed towards another one of the shops in this district, it was nice being able to explore and as much as he was the Crown Prince, she didn’t see him any differently from another normal person. “So, my dearest tour guide, what shop is the next best thing to visit?” Teasing him gently as she kept things a bit happier than the conversation earlier, there was no need to be upset over things they could not change.
