This is the incarnation of the legend of the Great King of Destruction, the beastly Hun who led her army across Europe and slaughtered all who had been judged as sinners in the eyes of God. This is the "Atilla" that society as a whole knows, rather than the machine who felt nothing as she killed. This is the ideal of "Leader of the Huns", someone with enough power, charisma, and intelligence to lead an army of rampaging savages and win even while seemingly outmatched by a professional army. Under normal circumstances this incarnation of Altera would be summoned as an Archer, which would completely change Altera into the conceptual and fictional "Atilla". However the Archer slot of this war already been filled, thus the Grail System instead deigned to push her into the Lancer class, which has combined Altera and '"Atilla" into something strange and fascinating. Her personality has been subtly altered due to this summoning, ironically this Altera "Alter" displays more emotion than the original. She delights in the adrenaline that pumps through her veins during battle, she mourns the loss of comrades, she laughs as she celebrates her victory over a worthy foe. This is an Altera that has been subtly tainted by what society believes to be "Atilla". Personal Skills: Crest of War EX: The dissolution of civilization leads to man against man, brother against brother, father against son, blood shall be shed on the field of war. As one who was born only to destroy, it only makes sense that Altera would flourish in such an environment. The Crest of the Alien Star that marked Altera as Velber as been altered, it now signifies her status as a "God of War." A special territory is deployed once Altera begins combat, turning the area around Altera and her foe into "war grounds." In these war grounds all combatants take increased damage, including Altera herself. In addition, any damage Altera takes is turned into magical energy, prolonging the "war" as Altera regains her strength from the blood she sheds. This magical energy can be used for a Prana Burst like effect, for a God of War's rebuke must surely by swift and shaking. Disengage A: Altera's favored tactic was to launch volleys of arrows and javelins upon her enemies, retreating immediately afterwards and then returning to repeat the process until the enemy army was dead. Her hit and run tactics were famous across the land, she had the ability to disengage from any situation. At A rank, this skill has the bonus effect of returning battle conditions to what they were at the beginning of the match (1st turn) and restores the condition of this Skill to the initial value. At the same time, it forcibly releases some of the bad status ailments inflicted on the user of this Skill. Projectile (Javelins) A: While in life Altera's favored weapon was Photon Ray, the Sword of the War God, she recognized that close combat was not always the optimal method of destroying her opponents. In cases where long range was necessary she would instead rain javelins down on her foes, her technique famous across the lands. This same technique was taught to her army, which is part of what made it so fearsome. At rank A, the speed and force at which a javelin can be launched is enough to pierce the armor of a tank. Civilization Erosion A: The subconsciously active Skill of the Heroic Spirit Altera. Anything in Altera's grasp is transformed into its best form currently most suited for herself. This is based on Altera's own perspective, not necessarily reflecting the object at its greatest or most excellent. Due the the corruption of Altera, she now views the ideal weapon to be the spear rather than Photon Ray and the skill has been downgraded from the EX ranking she has in Saber class. Instead whatever Altera grasps becomes a replica of Photon Beam. Whereas once anything she touched would inevitably become Photon Ray「Sword of the War God」, she now views the spear as the more efficient way to eliminate an army. She now wields Photon Beam 「Spear of the War God」, a weapon similar yet dissimilar to its counterpart. Where the「Sword of the War God」was like a whip, cutting through swathes of enemies gracefully like a rainbow arcing through the air, the 「Spear of the War God」is a nail, puncturing through any defense mercilessly. Photon Beam 「Spear of the War God」sacrifices the versatility of Photon Ray「Sword of the War God」and trades it in for range, having the ability to extend to immense ranges to puncture foes from afar. Altera instead connects to her mighty army, calling upon them to unleash a volley of javelins to wipe the enemy from the face of Gaia. Let the the world know the fury of the Huns, tremble as a rain of death erases your civilization. Upon True Name Release, Altera launches her spear into the sky, unleashing a volley of a thousand javelins to rain from the sky upon those she deems "civilization." The + modifier of this Noble Phantasm is activated when assaulting any Fortress type Noble Phantasm or any target with the trait of "Civilization". Servants with this trait include leaders of great civilizations such as Julius Caesar or Cleopatra, while Noble Phantasms with this trait would be objects closely tied to civilization, such as the walls of a great city or a mighty fortress. Gives you wrinkles in the corners of your eyes if you stress over those details~" Alignment: "Well, I've never been a fan of people telling me what to do~ And I'm certainly not a bad person... Yes, I suppose I could be considered Chaotic Good! That sounds nice~" Rank: Objective for the Grail: "Well, I have heard stories that Galahad went to Avalon to meet with King Arthur when he obtained the Holy Grail. So I suppose if I were to obtain one, I would wish to go to Avalon as well! I've always wanted to meet the legendary King of Britain~ Maybe I could even meet Merlin as well, I've heard his home is in Avalon as well!" Personality: "How does one describe oneself? Hmm, I would say I'm a very carefree person, but also someone who cares a lot about the things that matter. One who forever searches for Avalon, yet knows not the path they take. I love the people I know, but I don't really care for people as a whole. I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite in the end, that's the kind of person I am~!" Biography: "Oh, you want to know more about me? Well let's see, I was born some time ago in the family castle in Britain. I was taught the Flur family Magecraft, passed down from generation to generation to me. I went to school at the Clocktower for a bit, I got top marks in all my classes even though I didn't try very hard. But this is all boring stuff that anybody would know about me, let's think of something more interesting... Ah, I know! Now we say we're descended from the legendary Magus of Flowers, Merlin. But Mr Interviewer, I need to tell you a secret~ The truth is, we're just a bunch of pretenders who tried to recreate his Illusionism. I found a really old book in our basement from the fourth generation, we've been pretending for hundreds of years that we're descended from Merlin himself! At some point things got all muddled and we started to believe it too, how embarrassing is that? Now I personally think we've done a very good job of pretending to be Merlin, but I'm sure that if I were to see the real thing then I would just get super depressed about it, kind of like a feeling of "Wow, what's the point of even trying if the real thing is so much better!" so I'd rather not summon Merlin for real."
Magic Circuit Switch: The smell of lilac petals on the breeze. Pursuit of Avalon(Illusionism): The Flur family Magecraft honed for generations, a comprehensive attempt to replicate the legendary Magecraft of the Magus of Flowers, Merlin. While Merlin is a once in a lifetime genius born of royal blood and the blood of an Incubus, one who's Magecraft could never be fully replicated, the Flur family has done a fine job in creating their facsimile of his work. Powerful Illusions that can trick even the most experienced of Magus if unprepared, this Magecraft uses flowers and the wind to trick foes into believing whatever the user wants them to believe as they recreate Avalon in the world around them. These illusions are of course heavily limited by the user's own imagination and creativity, even the slightest flaw can cause the whole thing to fall apart to an astute observer. Thankfully, William is quite the prodigy regarding the family Magecraft, taking their illusions to a whole other level beyond what the last heir could ever dream of achieving. Wind Magecraft: One of the arts learned while beginning their Pursuit of Avalon, the Flur family spent many years learning to frolic with the ever wistful winds, carefully coercing them to do their bidding and lend a hand when asked. Manipulation of winds on a great scale is possible using Wind Magecraft, including whipping up storms of dust to obscure retreat, forming barriers of wind to redirect projectiles, and even deadly invisible blades of wind to cut apart foes if in a pinch. Magic Crest: A Crest originating around the times of Arturian legend, it would be safe to assume that this family has endured for around 1600 years should the word of the Flur family be taken seriously. Equipment: The Stone and Ring of Eluned The Fortunate: A ring of silver with myriad runes carved along it, a treasure said to have been possessed by Merlin himself and one of the Flur family's most significant proofs that they are descended from the devilish incubus. This ring hides the magical presence of a Magus so long as they wear it, but it does not grant true invisibility. This is a rather moot point considering the Flur family's Magecraft, but it is worth nothing nonetheless. The Staff of Merlin: A staff carved from ancient gnarled oak, the Flur family claims this is the staff that Merlin himself used when performing as King Arthur's court Magus. While such claims may or may not be true, what is certain is that this is a staff with powerful Mystery. The Flur family would mainly use it for empowering their Illusions and strengthening their roots to the world, William however tends to use it as something to lean on when he gets tired of standing for too long. Mantle of Merlin: A rather simple Mystic Code in comparison to William's other two possessions, this cloak produces mass amounts of flowers and petals of William's choosing to be used for his family Magecraft. Wallet of Gwendolyn: An ancient wallet of the oldest leather, enchanted to magically store great amounts of paper bills and cards of plastic... It's really just a wallet William bought at a gift shop when he realized his old wallet looked ugly. Exceptional Benefit:Finality
