I actually found myself not liking this set of episodes as much. The obligatory girl power episode, which is handled much better later on (though I love Suki, don't get me wrong). I couldn't stand The King of Omashu, it's one of my least favorites in the series - and I couldn't even sit and watch it. I was browsing the internet the whole time. Yes, it's a kid's show, but why would anyone put up with Bumi as a king? It seems to be a recipe for disaster! Maybe it's cause I'm watching GoT right now but I was getting Mad King vibes from him lol. I do like Imprisoned a lot though. It's nice to see Katara having to deal with the consequences of her actions and owning them. I also think the Fire Nation's Prison was really cool and smart. A nice way to deal with people who have Earth powers. And the Fire Kingdom is filled with a bunch of douchebags! They spent the last 100 years being taught that they were the superior nation. It's gonna affect them after all that propaganda. That said, we do meet some awesome Fire Nation characters, some of whom end up fighting for Team Avatar. What I did find rather distracting though was the sheer amount of Kataang fluff. I'm not Zutara fan or anything, but dear god was it so sickly sweet annoying. "HEY KATARA! HEY LISTEN! LOOK AT ME!" Gah, shut up Aang.
