Unfortunately Crow didn't offer much of an answer as he instead addressed Naida. Although she felt him wrap an arm around her to hold her so that contented the knight enough to merely listen as the two conversed. That is until Naida turned back to her. At her friend's words, Penelope smiled, completely missing the mischievousness that was in Naida's expression. Thanks to the alcohol, she found Naida's words to actually be quite nice. Especially when most people were trying to separate them rather than push them together. "Thanks." Penelope giggled without second thought. "'m glad you 'hink so." Naida seemed mildly surprised that Penelope agreed so easily. She shot a victorious grin at Crow, as if she had finally cracked the code. "See! You two 're perfect together!" she exclaimed gleefully. "Right, Penelope?" Penelope parted her lips to answer but hesitated. While her first reply would have been yes, the successful expression on Naida's face made her think that wasn't what she was supposed to say. The knight certainly thought that she and Crow were a good team but she suddenly couldn't admit that to Naida. While the reasoning for denying such a thing was foggy, she knew she wasn't supposed to say such a thing. The knight shifted uncomfortably. "Well... no." Penelope said with a small shake of her head. She turned to Crow to try and mouth a subtle 'sorry', hoping that he knew why she had to disagree. Naida's grin died down into a disappointed frown. Clearly she had been expecting a yes. "Whaaaat? Why?" The princess pouted. "Er, Uh." Penelope stuttered, fumbling to come up with a reasoning behind dismissing the idea of her and Crow. Between the alcohol that clouded her mind and her genuine affection for the former thief, it was difficult to come up with anything, be it a lie or true. However, she managed to make something up. "He's juss not my type." she finally declared with a shrug.
