When Aerendyl snarled louder at Neveah, she hesitated before placing her hand on his muzzle. She let out a soft sigh when she saw he was beginning to relax for the moment. But just as quickly as he had stopped growling, he pulled away from her and ran away in the opposite direction. Neveah's shoulders lowered, since they'd been tensed upward toward her jaw most of the time. She was scared even though her expressions didn't show she was. Okay... Now to deal with Caspar, she thought. She turned around silently, checking to ensure Caspar was still there. Caspar was still knocked out, leaning against the tree, and since Neveah felt it was safe now, she really took a few moments to look at the other woman. She had gorgeous olive colored skin and her hair was a mousy kind of brown. When Neveah stepped closer, she saw Caspar also had freckles and a sharp, angled jaw and nose. Her lips were small, but it suited her face shape. She also had a very child like aura about her. Neveah hoped that once Caspar was in the hands of the council, she'd be more willing to cooperate about learning. Leaning down, Neveah scooped Caspar up into her arms, and she kind of rag dolled there. She wasn't heavy by any means, but it would slow Neveah down slightly. This wasn't the forest Neveah came through when she first arrived earlier this morning, but she could easily tell which way was home, and turned in the right direction. Though before she left, she took one more look over her shoulder the way that Aerendyl had gone, and then disappeared back to the Capitol.
