Sierra's entire body is immune to the effects of fire and extreme heat, including fevers and sunburn.

Sierra has a base body temperature well over any normal human (around 107°F). For this reason, it takes rather extreme temperatures for her to feel cold.

Sierra has the ability to envelop her body in flames, either entirely or partially, without harming herself. She can also create and launch spheres and streams of flames.

Sierra can use her pyrokinetic ability for jet propulsion allowing her to fly.

[i]Seething Fury[/i] - when overtaken by rage, Sierra's fire turns ruby red; this fire does not burn or spread, but instead unleashes enough explosive force on impact to punch through a brick wall

[i]Enlightenment[/i] - when tapping into her clarity of mind, Sierra can manifest a bright white ball of flame that emit enough light to illuminate a city block

[i]Death's Embrace[/i] - as the darkest of her thoughts enter her mind, Sierra's flame burns a deathly black and emits no heat and very little light; it is an extremely slow-creeping flame that instantly disintegrates what it consumes, turning it directly to ash rather than burning it; this fire is not formed into balls or streams but simply wraps around Sierra's hands; the spread of this flame can only be stopped by Sierra's thoughts[/indent]

[indent]More than anything else, Sierra is absolutely obsessed with wearing oversized hoodies. She also loves to show off her legs and exclusively wears short shorts. Since the temperature of the air has nearly zero effect on her no matter what the season, she wears clothing more as a courtesy rather than a necessity, preferring to wear as few layers as possible whenever it isn't considered inappropriate.[/indent]

She keeps this side of her tucked away, however, as she keeps her innermost thoughts heavily guarded. If she were to ever open up to someone, they would find that she is rather affectionate and playful. When her father  abandoned the family, it left her antisocial and extremely self-contained. She has recently started to develop a bit of an anger problem. She prefers to run from her issues rather than face them and tends to push those away that try to help her deal with them. She hates feeling like she is being controlled and will readily dismiss any attempts to do so.[/indent]

[indent] Sierra's childhood was full of many ups and downs. Being a pyrokinetic child came with more problems than a young girl deserved. It seemed like everything about her Variant ability was discovered the hard way. Her extremely high body temperature didn't manifest until adolescence which earned her a nice lengthy stay in the hospital. It took a week for them to realize she was a Variant and not a little girl on the brink of death. Her pyrokinesis and fire immunity were discovered when she became trapped in her playhouse as it burned to the ground after she accidentally set it ablaze. Needless to say, Sierra has been on the Watch list all her life. 

Despite these kinds of issues, she loved her family, especially her dad. Sierra took was a major daddy's girl, which could be considered a little odd since her mother was the Variant parent. So when her father left after being caught in an affair, her world absolutely collapsed. She completely withdrew from pretty much everything and everyone. Even her family's eventual move to New Haven did little to ease the hurt.

In time, she would open back up to her mom and brother, showing at least a small semblance of the Sierra they knew before. Her brother, Dante, seemed to take their parents' split much better than she, and Sierra secretly wished to be in that same state of mind. Dante sensed this (of course...their twins) and would consistently encourage her to get out and experience the city. It was a rather inspiring place and it was better than holing up in her room all the time. After eventually getting Sierra to budge, Dante introduced her to a group of Variants he frequently met up with who were members of the Pariah Underground. Among these was a gravity manipulator named Manny. Soon after meeting Manny, she became quite attached to him. She was immensely affected by his personality, and her whole demeanor started to shift. Over time, she started getting out a little more as a result, both with and without Manny. He became like another brother to her...though, at times, she wonders if their relationship could become something different. Besides Manny, she grew to like several of the Variants, and eventually she was fully accepted into the Underground.[/indent]
