As they rode there, Tempest's thoughts raced back to Oliver. Tinley had bad luck with relationships. Often the men she dated didn't like having a powerful woman. They either wanted her to have a career, but only if it was less than theirs, or they wanted her to be a housewife. Expected it of her really. And Tinley would never be such. It was why she had thought about adoption. She had always wanted kids. Still did, but she didn't see the need to include anyone else in the mix, especially one who expected her to form into their own mold.
