After a few hours passed, Neveah returned back to the castle with a deer and a decent sized hare. She was happy with herself and hummed a little as she dropped them off at the butchers. They would take care of it for her and then have it delivered to her kitchens. Most humans assumed that Vampires couldn't eat human food. They could, it just didn't get rid of their true thirst, plus most of it tasted bland unless it was fairly raw. Wine however was delicious, and almost all vampires enjoyed it, though their tolerance for alcohol was extremely high. The hunting got the thought of Aerendyl from her mind for most of the day. But days began to blend together as time went on, and it took every effort to get him out of her thoughts, even though their meeting wasn't in the best nature. Eventually though he was gone from her mind, except for when she slept when pictures of him entered her thoughts unwillingly by her. She always awoke annoyed and anxious after dreams like that. After a month had passed, Neveah was called into a private council with a Vampire from another coven not too far away. Though Neveah ruled all of the Vampires currently, with help of course, there would always be other covens around the world. This Vampires name was Lucius, and Neveah was familiar with him because he was her brother. Only a few years younger, which is why she was crowned before him. "I've received information about a wolf that doesn't belong to a pack, residing in a small village not far from here. I fear he could become dangerous. I think we should eliminate him immediately, before he becomes a real threat. I heard he has no control over himself especially during the full moon. He goes by Aerendyl." Lucius said sternly. Neveah's eyes widened slightly at the mention of Aerendyl. She never paid much mind to what the wolves did until this moment though. "Lucius, we don't need to kill every little thing that may become a threat to our kind. We are fierce predators. But that doesn't require us to bring death to everything. I can go check it out, though there really won't be much I can do given this creatures race. I'm not sure why you wouldn't go to one of the wolf packs and speak to their alpha about this instead?" Neveah questioned Lucius, her eyes slightly narrowed. "You know how they are. They would have killed me more than likely right off the bat. Just like this one will do if we don't deal with it, sister." When he said sister, the word was drawn out sarcastically, causing Neveah to roll her eyes. "You're not killing him. That's final." Lucius looked at her, his expression agitated. "Well, when your people die because of your reckless decisions, don't come to me for help," he said, his voice acidic. "Lucius..." she began, though he cut her off. "Don't, Neveah. Sometimes death really is the answer, despite your delirious ideals of the world living in perfect harmony without it." With that Lucius got up and disappeared from the castle and headed back toward his home. And once Neveah knew for certain no one else was around, she shouted and shoved the side table away from her, causing it to crash onto the cement below, breaking the glass into small pieces. She hung her head, annoyed. She would have to go and warn him, at the very least. She stood, cleaning up the glass quickly before heading off to speak with her second hand, Fae. After a quick discussion, Fae agreed to take Neveah's place for the time being. Once that was settled, she went to her quarters and packed a small bag of clothing and her cell phone and charger, and a few other random items she might need. Double checking her quarters and locking her door behind her, Neveah disappeared in a B line straight for Aerendyl's house, and this time it only took her an hour or so. She snuck around the back and shifted to his front door once she ensured everything seemed normal, and pounded on his door loudly.
