It was hard to tell how he was feeling since his expression hadn't changed much. 

Since Neveah knew that for the moment, Aerendyl was safe, they could take their time heading back to the Capitol. But this also made her nervous because it would open a window for conversation of any sort, and she wasn't sure what she would, and wouldn't be willing to share with him. He probably didn't care about her life what so ever anyway. Before they could leave however, she would have to wait for him to gather everything he would want and need.

Neveah's own backpack stood at her feet gently and she glanced at it. She reached down and pulled her phone out just in case someone had tried to get a hold of her, but her screen was blank.
