It's very simple.

1. I made an additional character called Isolde.
2. In her Character Sheet, it states that she and the rest of Chapter 5 was put into sleep/deactivated.
3. Stern asked if she was still inactive in-story, and if the creator of Salem could be responsible for the deactivation, to allow Salem to go and interact with Isolde, and help Rodias reawaken her.

Very simple
