No ulterior motives. Personality: At her core Tsumugi is a very self centered person, as far as it concerns herself if something makes her happy then she considers it a fine enough thing to do. Now sometimes that includes making other people happy but the thought process is still quite worrying. As an heir to a magus family there is some degree of removal she has to the world of average humans, outside of a few close friends from her school and archery club, she doesn't really have much of a connection to humans. This doesn't particularly bother her as she is content with just the people she already knows. Tsumugi is not particularly interested in the world of magi either, but taking part in it will help her improve her own abilities and due to that fact she is perfectly happy with dedicating her all to diving deep into it. As a magus Tsumugi is not a particularly sadistic or malicious person. She is just an experimenter at heart and does not have many moral qualms when it comes to he work. After all if something is successful, that is 'good' in her books. Or even if it is unsuccessful but brings about some interesting results... Taking part in the grail war as a representative of her family, Tsumugi sees this as a very interesting learning opportunity and field to experiment on as well as a way to make her beloved grandfather happy! She is aware of the dangers that come with it although she is counting on being let go if she gets cornered and surrenders... Although that should only be saved for a last resort. Biography: Raised from birth to be the heir of a magus family, Tsumugi's upbringing was a rather challenging one but not out of the norm for others in the same position. Of her childhood she has quite happy memories, she enjoyed spending time with her parents as well as her grandfather and as far as she knows they enjoyed spending time with her. She is very thankful for their guidance and the lessons they taught her even though at times they could be exhausting and painful, it is well understood that it is necessary and again nothing out of the norm. Tsumugi would always dedicate much of her time and energy to practicing magecraft from as long ago as she was capable of really treating it as a serious thing. The joy she felt when successfully doing something offset any of the exhaustion or pain that it caused. This meant that when it came to time for he to go to school she would always be very tired, falling asleep in class was a real risk. Despite this she always seemed to do decently well when it came to grades, upper end of the class even. However she was by no means what one would call a 'perfect student' The few friends she has were mostly made through school, she didn't really intend to make them but they just sort of happened naturally due to them being together most days. Lunch and breaks were mostly spent with her friends trying to stop her from falling asleep. It was through them she also got into archery. Something that Tsumugi otherwise probably would have ignored as she saw it as something that took away from her attention on magecraft. However the hobby has seemed to have an overwhelmingly pleasant effect on her general mood throughout the day. After high school she intends to study at the Clocktower in London. After her studies she is not quite sure what she wants to do specifically but as long as she can continue the work that she already is doing then she doesn't seem to be quite bothered what it is. Before that though she had the grail war to prepare for. Something that Tsumugi takes quite seriously due to her status as a Matou as well as the chance to show what she has to her grandfather and the Clocktower. --- Magic Circuit Switch: The sound of her joints breaking and snapping back into place. Number of Magic Circuits: C Quality of Magic Circuits: B --- Elemental Affinity: Water Attribute: Absorption Magecraft: General Magecraft : Although Tsumugi has not yet attended to Clocktower she is exceptional in the field of General Magecraft and has prepared more than enough that she could be considered on par or even above par for a magus. She will go to great lengths to get the boring things out of her way first! Potions and Poisons: The field of making substances of varying effects, whether they be positive or negative Tsumugi does not have much focus but rather is an experimenter at heart. Her skills in this area are largely of a supplemental nature to her main craft. Matou Family Magecraft (+Familiars): The main bulk of Tsumugi’s talent lies within the traditional craft of the Matou family. Said to be a rare natural talent with an affinity for the particular craft, Tsumugi is constantly looking for ways to further develop and continuously innovate. The young Matou is seemingly able to with effortlessly make use of the standard Matou worms that mainly eat up the magical energy of living things, as well as the winged version of them. Tsumugi has not had much practical use in utilizing them in the effort of controlling someone although she has had practice from time to time. When it comes to the familiars she has made herself, it seems to be almost like she is controlling an extended part of her body than it is a familiar.
These are variations of worm familiars, although named after different bugs they are all really just alterations of the base worm. Fireflies: These are extremely small familiars that emit a very low, almost unnoticeable amount of magical energy. Generally used for spying on the Tohsakas and Einzberns they are not very useful for anything else. Although they do have small but sharps rows of teeth to absorb little bits of magical energy if it is needed, when done so they light up like a firefly would. Although that is generally a warning that they are about to engage in combat, meaning they are going to explode in a fiery assault on their enemy, killing themselves but using up all of the energy taken in order to distract whatever it is they are assaulting. Centipedes: A long and armored familiar that in the place of legs has many small blade like appendages, as well as a more prominent blade at the end of its body. Whip like attacks are possible and they do well in traversing forested areas. Their powerful front pincer like applications also allow the ability to potentially burrow underground, allowing for an alternative route to maneuvering. Spiders: These are more like miniature versions of the 'giant worms' that can be found within the Matour worm pit. They are agile and have some chitinous like Armour, although now more acting like camouflage than a defense thanks to changes made by Tsumugi. They can eject a web like substance that is surprisingly durable and can be used to absorb magical energy and along with a powerful bite they also inject their target with a venomous substance. Woolly Caterpillars: These fuzzy friends are pretty harmless and quite cute all things considered. They do emit a substance that may cause the target to fall asleep, however that is not something they need to worry about. Butterflies/Moths: An additional familiar that is spawned from a Woolly Catterpillar that absorbs a certain amount of magical energy. No air born each flap of their wings works to spread the sleep inducing substance. They are quite pretty though, all things considered. Beetles: A familiar fully committed to defense, more than anything they are used as a shield for Tsumugi and her home, they are hard workers with the soul purpose of protecting the Matou and their belongings. Their shells have a level of magical defense to them along with being just generally extremely durable. Preying Mantis: Where the beetles could be considered a shield, these familiars could be considered a sword. Their sole purpose is to hunt down their target, slice them up with their blades and then devour them. (Not the) Bees: Although possessing a large stinger that injects it's target with a paralyzing agent, the main purpose of this familiar is to go out and collect magical energy in order to bring it back to the Matou manor and create a honey like liquid made from the properties of the poor things it absorbed. This nectar is not very pleasant looking, tasting or smelling but it certainly is potent. Watch Dogs: A pack of dog like creatures that are modeled in their creation after the hounds of hell, although they look strangely like Dobermans... They patrol the perimeter of the Matou manor to keep a watchful eye for anything that might be approaching. Their enhances senses (even for a dog) are particularly useful for this, furthermore their bite is not something to be underestimated. One might ask themselves. "How come they aren't bugs?" To that Tsumugi would answer "Well I could open one up and show you whats inside!" with a giggle.
Magic Crest: The ‘magic crests’ of the Matou family are said to be around 500 years old. Equipment: Specially Imported Potion Creation Kit: As it says, a specially imported Potion Creation Kit bought from a magus family that has more of a specialty in said area. It has all the instructions and ingredients needed for things such as healing potions, poisons, and elixirs of various types like sight, strength, regeneration, durability, and so on. Longbow: A mysteriously crafted british longbow of an unknown magical nature, crafted from yew and string made from an unspecified phantasmal species, it is not entirely clear whether Tsumugi got scammed or not yet. However the runes engraved on it seem promising, despite Tsumugi not being able to read them so in the end it could just be made up gibberish. Either way it was bought because Archery is a hobby of hers and she is actually quite the crack shot. And well it might come into use for a war even if it doesn't have much magical or monetary value. (In truth all that s 'magical' about this bow is a luck charm). Decorative Woolly Caterpillar Medallion: A fancy medallion of a worm that is hung around her neck like a necklace. It looks pretty nice although it does not fit much purpose other than providing Tsumugi with a level of magical resistance (D-rank). Exceptional Benefit: Three Families (Matou) Achieved it by being a Matou. He will normally listen to quietly to anything that is said to him without much of a response and will follow his master's orders to the utmost of his ability. However when it comes to a situation that threatens to compromise his own principles then he will not move even a single step towards achieving said goal, nor will he back down even by the power of a command seal. This unexpectedly stubborn side of Siegfried often leads him to being quite misunderstood unfortunately. In terms of self-esteem Siegfried tends to have quite the negative outlook. This is largely due to the curse of the Das Rhinegold that buried the desire and drive that he once had, in the end all he found himself doing was granting the wishes of those lives who happened to crossover with his own. Objective for the Grail: Siegfried does not have any particular wish, except perhaps to see justice fulfilled in the conflict he finds himself in.
