[hider=Avatar party]Yeah, I was actually a bit suprised by how kinda... ham-handed the equality thing is handled early on in the series. It gets a lot better. Like, a [i]lot[/i] better. The Sokka development is great though haha!

I couldn't stand The Kind of Omashu the first time I watched it, but watching it now and I kinda like it. I guess it's because the first time Bumi's crazyness really wound me up, but now I'm appreciating it for what it is.

Haru just feels like he was put in for HEY, HERE'S SOMEONE KATARA CAN RELATE TO!

And yeah, what Danni said in regards to the fire nation. 100 years of propaganda can really do a number on a country, so I think it's handled fairly realistically. *shrug*[/hider]
